Green Tech Recycling Tires Sweden AB and Enviro Total AB enter long-term off-take and cooperation agreement on recovered carbon black
Green Tech Recycling Tires Sweden AB (“Green Tech Recycling”) and Enviro Total AB (“Enviro Total”) have entered into a long-term off-take and cooperation agreement covering the supply and commercialization of recovered carbon black (rCB) from Green Tech Recycling’s planned production facility in Åmål, Sweden.
The agreement, signed on 31 December 2025, covers an annual volume of up to 3,000 tonnes of rCB over an initial period of five (5) years, with options for extension and increased volumes as production capacity and market demand develop.
Under the agreement, the parties will work closely together to introduce high-quality rCB into demanding rubber and specialty compound applications, supporting the transition from fossil-based carbon black to circular, low-carbon alternatives.
“The agreement with Enviro Total is an important commercial milestone for Green Tech Recycling. It complements our other off-take and sales agreements for recovered carbon black and is a clear indication of strong market interest in our recycled products. We also look forward to further developing our collaboration with Enviro Total over time,” says Göran Lundholm, CEO of Green Tech Recycling Tires Sweden AB.
Enviro Total will act as a key commercial partner for the marketing, sales and distribution of rCB into industrial value chains, leveraging its established market presence and technical understanding of compound performance requirements.
“We are very pleased to formalize this cooperation with Green Tech Recycling, a company that shares our commitment to advancing circular materials in industry,” says George Ström, CEO of Enviro Total AB. “This agreement represents an important step in expanding the availability of high-quality rCB to European customers and strengthens our ability to provide industry with reliable, sustainable material alternatives.”
The collaboration combines Green Tech Recycling’s advanced tire-recycling and pyrolysis capabilities with Enviro Total’s commercial and market expertise. Together, the parties aim to accelerate market adoption of rCB while meeting stringent performance and quality requirements.
This agreement represents an important milestone for Green Tech Recycling and provides early commercial validation of the Åmål facility, while strengthening Enviro Total’s access to sustainably produced raw materials.
